We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current state respiratory therapy license in good standing with the Virginia licensure board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Minimum one year clinical experience as an RRT. Experience in skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or post-acute care settings preferred.
- BLS certification required. ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Experience with ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and aerosol therapy required. Familiarity with noninvasive ventilation and airway clearance devices preferred.
- Ability to perform patient assessments, respiratory diagnostics (ABG interpretation, spirometry), and document care in electronic medical records.
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet facility onboarding requirements, including background and health screenings as applicable.

- Shift Details: Evenings 1830-0700.
- Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- Schedule Pattern: 3x12 shift rotation.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other affiliated facilities as needed.
