Description

We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Scranton, PA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
  • Current state respiratory care license in good standing with the Pennsylvania State License Board.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) also acceptable; note client accepts RRT candidates.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience required.
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required and current.
  • Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory support equipment, ventilators, and arterial blood gas interpretation preferred.
  • Ability to float between regional hospital campuses as required by the client.
  • Must meet any facility-specific background and credentialing requirements.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Primary Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT; RRT acceptable).
  • Shift Name: Nights.
  • Shift Details: Nights 1830-0700.
  • Floating: Candidate will be required to float between regional hospital campuses.
  • Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
