We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Scranton, PA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current state respiratory care license in good standing with the Pennsylvania State License Board.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) also acceptable; note client accepts RRT candidates.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience required.
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required and current.
- Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory support equipment, ventilators, and arterial blood gas interpretation preferred.
- Ability to float between regional hospital campuses as required by the client.
- Must meet any facility-specific background and credentialing requirements.
