Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to support a hospital radiology team in Boston, MA. The MRI Technologist will perform MRI imaging safely and efficiently based on established guidelines and protocols. The role requires sound knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy, including common head and neck disease processes. The technologist will work independently and collaboratively with radiologists, the lead imaging specialist, associate director of radiology, and fellow technologists to ensure efficient, effective exams while maintaining patient comfort and safety to achieve high diagnostic image quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI.
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure as required by Massachusetts.
- Two years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
- BLS certification.
- Experience performing MRI exams that demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional, spine, neuro-vascular, and head & neck anatomy.
- Experience working in a hospital or high-acuity radiology environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating with radiologists and multidisciplinary imaging teams in a teaching hospital setting.
- Familiarity with MRI safety protocols and patient screening procedures.
