Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, follow physician scanning protocols, prepare and position patients, operate MRI scanners, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, maintenance of imaging equipment, accurate documentation, and effective patient communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI or ARRT with MRI registry eligibility.
- State licensure as required for MRI technologists in Kentucky.
- MRI advanced level certification where required by client. All travelers must have required certifications prior to start. Client reserves the right to require additional certifications. Refer to client checklist for the most current requirements.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with standard MRI systems and protocols including routine and advanced sequences.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Ability to work evenings shift schedule and perform patient positioning, IV access coordination, and safety screening.
- Willingness to comply with facility orientation and credentialing processes. Candidates located 60 miles or greater from the facility may be considered for travel assignments.
