Description

Become a vital part of a hospice care team in Charlotte, NC as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials as indicated, and operate CT equipment and radiography systems to support emergency department and outpatient imaging needs. This role requires proficiency in both CT and general radiography and working effectively within an interprofessional team using Epic electronic medical record systems.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years dual-modality Radiology (DX) and CT technologist experience required. This includes performing CT studies and general x-rays, including portable imaging.
  • ARRT (Radiography) certification required.
  • ARRT-CT certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
  • Experience using Epic EMR and Epic Radiant (RIS) preferred.
  • Experience with PACS (Philips iSite) and familiarity with Siemens CT scanners, Bayer/Medrad power injectors, and portable X-ray equipment preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Emergency department or outpatient imaging experience preferred.
  • Experience working in facilities with high patient volumes and fast-paced imaging workflows preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
  • Workdays: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
  • Standard hours per week: 40.
  • Floating: No floating to other facilities.
  • Department uses EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant (RIS), and Philips iSite PACS.

Impacting Patient Care

As a CT Technologist in this role you will support emergency department and outpatient imaging volumes, performing an average of CT and diagnostic radiology studies consistent with the facility's workflow. You will work with department leadership and multidisciplinary staff to deliver timely imaging services that support clinical decision making.
