Become a vital part of a hospital-based radiology team in Mesquite, NV as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer IV contrast agents per protocol, prepare and operate CT scanners to acquire high-quality cross-sectional images, and perform required quality control and radiation safety procedures. You will provide coverage across areas of the Radiology Department as needed and perform radiologic diagnostic procedures with independent judgment and attention to safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT registration with CT modality certification required.
- Current Nevada X-ray license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred; include experience with contrast administration and CT protocols.
- Experience performing equipment quality control and adhering to radiation safety standards.
- Ability to provide coverage across radiology modalities when assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
- Experience working in a hospital radiology department.
