Description

Become a vital part of the care team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Idaho Falls, ID. You will follow physician scanning protocols, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that support patient care. This opportunity is in a hospital setting using GE CT scanners including 64-slice models.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT CT certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of CT trauma experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of CT stroke experience required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Experience using GE CT scanner platforms (GE Optima 64 and GE Revolution EVO or similar) preferred.
  • Experience with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
  • Ability to float to cover open shifts as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric CT exam experience preferred.
  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technologist program preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 1600–0200.
  • Schedule: Four 4pm–2am shifts per week, 40 hours per week.
  • Department is staffed 24/7.
  • Scanners in use: GE Optima 64-slice and GE Revolution EVO 64-slice.
  • Documentation system: Meditech.
  • Floating required to fill in as needed to cover open shifts.

Impacting Patients Nationwide

As a travel clinician you will support hospital-based imaging services and contribute to timely diagnosis and treatment. Assignments provide exposure to high-volume trauma and stroke protocols and advanced CT platforms. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support patient throughput and imaging quality initiatives.
