Description

Become a vital part of a hospital team in McKinney, TX as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to support diagnostic imaging services. This role requires adherence to imaging protocols, radiation safety practices, and collaboration with radiology and clinical teams to ensure timely patient care.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years CT technologist experience.
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or RT with CT eligibility.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience operating multidetector CT scanners and administering IV contrast agents.
  • Experience working in an acute care or hospital radiology environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous travel CT technologist experience preferred.
  • Experience with advanced CT applications such as angiography or trauma protocols preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 1900-0730.
  • Schedule includes recurring weekend coverage (Friday through Sunday) and additional Thursday coverage on alternating weeks per facility staffing pattern.
  • Position requires working a variable schedule where one week may be approximately 36 hours and the alternate week approximately 48 hours due to the rotating Thursday shift.
