Become a vital part of a hospital team in Albany, NY as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will perform CT imaging exams, administer contrast agents, operate CT equipment, assist with CT-guided procedures, and support patient care in a fast-paced Level I trauma and academic medical center. You will follow radiation safety requirements per New York State Department of Health and support teaching and learning activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program or equivalent (high school +1).
- New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in New York.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
- Ability to perform CT exams for outpatients, inpatients (including those in intensive care), emergency/trauma patients, research patients, and CT-guided procedures.
- Familiarity with radiation safety practices consistent with NYS DOH code part 16.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Level I Trauma center or academic medical center preferred.
- Prior experience performing CT-guided interventional procedures preferred.
