Description

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Augusta, GA as an experienced CT Technologist. You will perform CT imaging procedures, administer contrast media per protocol, operate CT equipment, and ensure diagnostic image quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort.


Minimum Requirements:

  • ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification required upon hire.
  • ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required upon hire.
  • BLS certification required upon hire (AHA BLS or equivalent).
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1 year radiology experience required. Less than 1 year CT experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with CT equipment operation, image transfer to PACS, and power injector use.
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and administer IV contrast according to facility protocols.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to function independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Willingness to take call when necessary.

Additional Information:

Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs. Responsibilities include verifying orders, obtaining clinical history, performing and reviewing CT exams for clinical acceptability, maintaining radiation safety and infection control standards, restocking supplies, and completing documentation in RIS/PACS. Candidate must follow facility policies and participate in departmental education and competency maintenance.
