Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in Montgomery, AL. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging needs in a high-acuity, fast-paced trauma center environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience preferred; facility will accept candidates with 1 year of experience if they demonstrate strong CT skills. First-time travelers require at least 2 years of experience with the required skills.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT (ARRT-CT required).
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with high-acuity trauma cases and acute care settings preferred.
- Required procedural skills: CT angiography and image-guided procedures such as biopsy and drainage.
- Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Cerner EMR preferred.
- Ability and willingness to float to other areas throughout the hospital as needed.
