Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by client.
- Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
- Laboratory licensure in appropriate specialty when required by state regulations.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
- BLS certification.
- Experience working in a hospital laboratory environment.
- Experience performing 12-hour night shift laboratory workflows and proficiency with routine clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, and microbiology testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high-volume hospital lab.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic result reporting.

- Shift hours: 12-hour night shift (NOC 12).
- Shift pattern: 3x12.
- Location: Lithonia, GA (hospital setting).
