Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up instruments and equipment, and provide intraoperative support to the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient workflow. This assignment is based in Davenport, IA, in a home health facility setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
- Experience with orthopedic procedures, including Mako robotic knee and hip cases, and spine procedures. (Client-specific requirement.)
- Willingness to work on-call one day per week and every 4th weekend as required by the client. (Client-specific requirement.)
- Ability to work variable start times between 0600 and 0800. (Client-specific requirement.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with robotic-assisted orthopedic surgery (Mako) preferred.
- Previous experience in fast-paced OR settings preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0600–1800.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour days with variable start time between 0600–0800.
- On-call requirement: One day per week and every fourth weekend.
- Must be able to float to other facilities as needed.
