Description

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a collaborative cardiac care team. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel with diagnostic and interventional procedures while operating advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment to capture critical data on the heart and vasculature.


What You'll Need:

  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification. RCIS is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital-based Cath Lab setting. First-time travelers may be considered per client guidance.
  • BLS required. ACLS preferred.
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterization, femoral and radial access, IFR and FFR, and use of balloon pumps and temporary pacemakers.
  • Familiarity with EP/Cath room workflows, STEMI program protocols, and interdisciplinary teamwork including educating staff and trainees.
  • State licensure where applicable.


Minimum Requirements (Client Specific)

  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting.
  • ARRT or RCIS certification required; RCIS preferred.
  • BLS required. ACLS preferred.
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab cases including IFR, FFR, femoral and radial approaches.
  • Experience with balloon pumps and temporary pacemakers.
  • Comfort working in a 24/7, 365 STEMI program and the ability to function in a fast-paced team environment with strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Cath Lab systems such as MacLab; experience with GE C-arms and Pyxis medication dispensing preferred.
  • Will accept first-time travelers per facility note.

  • Rooms: 2 (1 EP/Cath room, 1 Cath Lab)
  • Case Volume: Approximately 4 cases per day
  • Program: 24/7, 365 STEMI program
  • Floating: May float between rooms within the department and to the pre-op area
  • EMR: EPIC. Hemodynamic system: MacLab. C-arms: GE. Medication dispensing: Pyxis.
