Description

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist) and play a vital role on a clinical team that values your skills while experiencing a new city. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture images and hemodynamic data of the heart and vascular system.


What You'll Need:

  • ARRT certification as an Invasive Radiological Technologist. ARRT is required. RCIS certification will not be accepted.
  • Must have prior Cath Lab experience. Scrubbing and monitoring experience required.
  • Experience with angiography, PCI, and complex cases such as CTO, left main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy, and peripheral interventions preferred.
  • Structural heart experience preferred but not required.
  • STEMI coverage required.
  • Experience with mechanical circulatory support including Impella and IABP expected.
  • Experience monitoring and recording on MacLab preferred; willingness to train on MacLab acceptable.
  • Knowledge of Cath Lab products and ability to restock procedure rooms.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred).
  • State-specific licensure when required.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Cath Lab experience required. Experience scrubbing and monitoring in a hospital Cath Lab setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with sterile technique and complex interventional procedures.
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as MacLab preferred; willingness to train if needed.
  • Experience with Impella and IABP devices preferred.
  • EMR experience with Cerner preferred.
  • Ability to restock and manage Cath Lab procedural supplies.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0600-1630. Schedule follows 4/10s (four 10-hour days).
  • On-call requirement: approximately 9-10 on-call shifts per month and one weekend on call per month.
  • Duration: Travel assignment, 13 weeks.
  • Must be willing to cover STEMI calls and perform required duties including scrubbing and monitoring.
  • May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
