Insight Global is looking for a Product Engineer - Urban Autonomous Vehicles to join a Fortune 100 semiconductor company headquartered in Santa Clara, CA.
Pay Rate: $40/hr-$70/hr
The team just started working on advanced urban driving product, example stopping at red lights. The person that joins this team will look at test results, deep dive, understand issues and what solutions could be then go back to engineers to make sure they are working on right solutions and have right process to test and validate them. This individual will work alongside a dedicated product manager and engineer focused on each vehicle feature area.
Additional responsibilities include:
-Help daily tests depending on focus area (could be traffic lights, stop signs, lane changes, routing, general comfort like jerky breaking/steering, end to end learn driving team current or potential issues,)

+ Would love someone with experience on end to end learn driving (just need 1 of the 4 with this experience)
Looking at test results in person 2-3 days a week with the cars (might be more in the beginning till they ramp up)
+IDEALLY a perception engineer at an ADAS company
-Experience with testing and validating automotive systems or similar robotic applications
-Experience creating test plans, executing test cases
-Experience with AV Software, robotics understanding robotic systems (someone who has dealt with a physical product in the real world that has some hardware aspect so mobile phones, headsets, wearable, etc dont need to know hardware but understand how it works with software and how the real world could cause different factors)
-Bachelor's in Engineer
-Preciously a software engineer
-Previously worked at L4 Autonomous Vehicle company (Lyft, motional, Cruise, Waymo, Zoox, Argo, Tesla)
