The Director Data Governance will be reporting to the VP Enterprise Applications. Their initial priority will be understanding where the organizations data maturity is and building solutions around the data that needs to be governed. They will be responsible for hiring on 4 resources that will report to them in an effort to build out this Data Governance Team. They will work closely with enterprise architecture, data engineering, applications, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
Healthcare Industry experience
-7+ years' experience including enterprise-scale data management initiatives and formal program leadership, ideally in a transformation environment.
-Hands-on experience designing, building, and orchestrating large-scale data governance, data quality and data management programs.
-Minimum of 3 years senior IT leadership experience leading complex initiatives.
-Experience in building data governance solutions using Data Catalog tools such as Azure Purview, Alation, Collibra, etc.
-Experience with building data governance solutions that apply to Azure cloud data ecosystem including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI.
