Key Responsibilities
- SW Development for Environmental Testing. Control and Monitor
- Support Requirements creation and trace matrix
- Design and readiness (PDR, CDR, TRR) Reviews
- User Instructions/Manuals
- Setup test benches and equipment
- HW/SW Integration
- Test/Product Debug and RCCA
- Verification and Validation
- Documentation
- Customer Support
Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required - 10%
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 8+ years experience working in an Environmental Lab or similar environment on SW and HW design
- Due to export control regulations, this position requires US citizenship status
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
WE VALUE
- Experience with NI TestStand, LabVIEW and NI HW including DAQ, cRIO etc
- Experience with Test Equipment and associated Aerospace products including Fuel/Engine, Auxiliary power and Cabin
- Pressure products is a plus
- Individuals who take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
- Individuals that assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations
- Effectively using data to make intelligent decisions in the face of ambiguity
- Multi-tasking and the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks with shifting priorities
- Experience writing and presenting SW and HW Version Description Documents
- Proven track record developing test software and/or hardware
- Test engineering experience
- Familiar with DO-160
