ADVANCED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Key Accountabilities / Deliverables of the role:
- Design a world-class cloud infrastructure and platform for IoT, SaaS and Data Analytics solutions delivering high reliability and the best performance possible.
- Own the effective deployment of microservices architecture into production, working with development teams and QA to ensure quality delivery.
- Guide decision making for design decisions which may impact site reliability or scalability.
- Build a streamlined continuous delivery pipeline to enable fast delivery of the cloud hosted offerings.
- Ensuring cost-effective service delivery by automating critical processes, including new releases, configuration, monitoring, and problem resolution.
- Work with cyber-security architects to ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry best practices.
Perform quick and accurate troubleshooting, diagnostic to production system. - Assisting with capacity planning and scalability to ensure systems are optimized for continuous growth.
- Design and implement system automation architecture, infrastructure, and processes
- Work with Operations to design systems to allow easy deployment of systems to meet customers requirements (hybrid, private, multi-tenant cloud).
- Design and implement IaaS and infrastructure as code strategies aligned to deployment needs.
- Provide technical input as required into the design and planning of new features, focusing on the deploy-ability of the products.
- Build product features that are extensible, scalable, and adhere to best practices.
- Provide problem-solving for technical challenges
- Contribute to best practice standards being delivered Deliver code that is of a high standard and acceptable to the QA cycle

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors in Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Science
- 3 years on Agile and DevOps practices from DevOps or SRE organization
- 3 years cloud application development & automation
- 3 years utilizing programming languages like C#, Java Powershell Python Javascript
- 3 years advanced understanding of Networking Concepts (TCP / IP Stack, Firewalls, S2S VPN)
WE VALUE
- Solid knowledge of SDLC
- Good experience in SDLC and CI\CD Automation.
- Experience Implementing RDBMS, NoSql Databases, Enterprise messaging system and API management.
- Experience with Application management in Kubernetes platform
- Good knowledge in Application performance management and availability monitoring tools.
- Experience in multiple software development tools
- Understanding of on premises and cloud environments
- Experience with Open Source Software
- Experience in software security
- Experience in cloud operations and administration with AWS or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with infrastructure as code with tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible
