Second Shift: 3:00p - 11:30p
Third Shift: 9:30p - 6:00a
Need mostly weekends and holidays for these shifts.
- Performs daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms and other ancillary areas in the hospital including nursing stations, restrooms, offices, etc.
- Uses various pieces of cleaning tools and electrical equipment such as carpet vacuum, mop buckets, and wringers. Uses various cleaning chemicals and solutions in an effort to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Collects and transports trash and soiled linen to the appropriate storage area.
- Maintains furniture in patient rooms, offices, and other ancillary areas in an orderly fashion.
- Completes cleaning requests for check-outs and transfers on a daily basis.
- Observes and reports any equipment, furniture, fixtures, and areas in the hospital that may need repair and/or replacement.
- Maintains work areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
Minimum Qualifications
* Must demonstrate the ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write theEnglish language.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
* Moderate physical efforts are required. Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching.
* Occasional pushing or pulling. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
