What an Athletic Trainer/ATC First Assist Will Do:

ATC'sperforms the patient intake, takes vitals and a detailed history, performs an initial musculoskeletal exam, orders imaging, and presents findings to the physician. As a first assist they also aid in surgeries.

What an Athletic Trainer/ATC Fist Assist Will Need:

• Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training, Physical Education, or Exercise Science or health related profession required.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• Current CPR/AED from American Heart Association certification required.
• First Assist Certification required
• Nationally certified athletic trainer (ATC) and Florida state licensure required
