What will I be doing?
As the Senior Manager, Sales Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the Hilton Worldwide Sales (HWS) Salesforce instance is optimized across all teams and verticals by leading the core solution team and working with Sales Governance, Sales Leadership, and directly with Sales Professionals! You will be responsible for the overall management of the enhancement release process, the systems sales enablement strategy, and for carrying out the defined roadmap to deliver new solutions that support the HWS teams. In addition, you will manage vendor relationships, and integrated solutions (including AppExchange products), oversee the Salesforce enhancement process as well as tune the performance of the instance and perform other related functions as directed by the Director, Sales Solutions.
Additionally, you will engage with multi-functional teams and lead/participate in multi-functional initiatives in support of Hilton’s KSPs as they relate to property sales solutions.
More specifically you will:
- Lead the definition and documentation of business processes for new solutions.
- Review, analyze and evaluate system configuration, business requirements and user needs to provide solutions using configuration and/or AppExchange products that meet business requirements and adhere to the overall design and security of the Hilton Salesforce Org.
- Oversee the full lifecycle enhancement release process through collaboration with internal teams to gather requirements, prioritize goals with the business, and at times research, build, test and deploy major enhancements.
- Challenge business requests and requirements to ensure that final configurations are suitable for all global users and partners.
- Act as subject matter expert on all foundational aspects of Salesforce Cloud products and on the Hilton data schema and flow of data across various systems.
- Deliver polished and impactful communications for the above property sales team.
- Lead the overall strategy for the sales enablement platform and related activities.
- Create and lead training materials to support new functionality including writing eLearning modules, quick sheets, videos, and system walk-throughs.
- Participate in defining automation and integration projects with multi-functional teams to enhance the system and user performance.
- Handle relationships with external vendor(s) to understand and run configurations related to managed package(s).
- Build and demonstrate configuration prototypes in Salesforce to various team members.

- Ability to translate desired business outcomes into technical requirements and solutions, and influence process and system decisions that have a company-wide impact.
- Strong bias for action; ability to take ownership.
- Experience handling vendor relationships.
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience in Technology or related field
- Seven (7) years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud product(s)
- Travel up to 20%
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
- Twelve (12) years of experience in Technology or related field
- Nine (9) years of experience working with Sales teams and Salesforce.com
- Salesforce Certified/Advanced Certified Administrator and/or Salesforce Force.com Developer Certification
- Experience with development/integration (SOQL), Experience with web technologies for data transport and integration (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SOAP/XML, REST/JSON)
- Experience with Conga Composer
