A Personal Concierge for Waldorf Astoria Maldives will be the key point of contact for Guests and VIP Guests throughout their stay at the resort, providing information about the resort and the local vicinity and to provide outstanding customer service and enhance the resort guest experience.

What will I be doing?

A Personal Concierge for Waldorf Astoria Maldives will be responsible for creating and ensuring all guests' needs which will lead to a unique, memorable and personal stay for all the guests. Specifically, as a Personal Concierge for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times. Personal Concierge must present in the property well groomed, clean and pleasant.
  • Ensure the highest possible guest satisfaction.
  • To maintain a calm, courteous and gracious attitude at all time
  • Abides strictly to the established operating procedures.
  • Act in an intuitive manner and engaging service with the guests.
  • To operate and coordinate with relevant departments the in and out in the villa and optimize service while the guest is away as often as possible.
  • To host and welcome all guests in a gracious and polite manner; to have the ability to hold a conversation with the guests in a natural and spontaneous manner.
  • To anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy or whatever time of the day.
  • To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in all other departments.
  • Checks personally all VIP rooms before arrival in respect of supplies and preferences.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Guests and efficiently respond to Guest enquiries
  • Provide information, advice and booking services for a wide variety of Guest enquiries, including Restaurants, Spa, Water sports, special dinning among others
  • Stay relevant with all Resort services as well as daily VIP requests and special events
  • To attend and contribute to all staff meetings, departmental and Resort training as scheduled and other related activities.
  • To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the managers

A Personal Concierge serving Waldorf Astoria Maldives is always working to on to ensure a great experience for our Guests. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:


  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in the same or similar role, experience as a Personal Concierge, Butler or guest experience role in a Luxury Resort.
  • Knowledgeable of multi-cultural service protocols and standards.
  • Strong ability to operate and successfully arbitrate in a complex international and multicultural environment.
  • Excellent guest relations and problem-solving skills.
  • Good planning and execution skills with the ability to be persistent while focusing on detailed elements of tasks.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Have impeccable follow-through.
  • Candidate must have a good command of spoken and written English/ Russian /Japanese/Korean


  • Pays attention to detail and has strong customer service skills.
  • Mature, meticulous, resourceful, organized, and able to work independently.
