What will you work on at Hilton Geneva?
In our Housekeeping team, a Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for general cleaning and maintaining housekeeping stores to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. What will I be doing? As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for general cleaning and maintaining housekeeping stores to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A House Porter will also be required to greet guests and ensure corridors are kept tidy. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Support the Housekeeping Executive Manager in her administrative tasks
- Supervise Housekeeping team work environment
- Inspect, regularly, all fixtures, fittings, and appliances to ensure compliance to standards and act as necessary to conform to standard
- Ensure staffing levels cover business demands, know how to manage a flexible workforce planning with a mix of different status (permanent, temporary etc) with a strong focus on budget impact
- Ensure ongoing training with on the job feedback
- Report maintenance issues
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Competent in property management systems
- Assist other departments wherever necessary
- Dispose of waste accordingly
- Be environmentally aware
