Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.

What will I be doing?
The Analyst for PTP (Process to Pay) will work with the Director of Accounts Payable on maintaining approval and receipt activities, as well as AP projects (PeopleSoft upgrade, special handling items, managing electronic interfaces) and handling Center of Excellence (COE) review of AP items from the outsourcing provider for all hotel and corporate operations.

  • Coordinate with third-party service providers (outsourcing providers, auditors, valuation specialists, software vendors) to ensure all necessary information is compiled and reviewed
  • Assist Director as the Accounts Payable liaison to hotel operations finance teams and other corporate departments
  • Coordinate the placing of vendor orders. Review of Supplier Master records to identify duplicates and cleanse master data
  • Perform accounts payable system-related activities such as the PeopleSoft upgrade project and handling electronic interfaces (credit card and legal interfaces, etc.)
  • Audit expense reports as the second line of defense and report finding
  • Resolve exceptions and inquiries requiring additional review from the outsourcing provider
  • Report results to others to explain and decipher findings
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working partnerships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support
  • Collaborate with the director to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish project/department goals
  • Research and respond to information requests from internal departments and management

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and to provide recommendations for optimal solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • One (1) year of experience in high volume accounts payable or data analysis
  • Proficient in MS Excel (including Pivot Tables & V-Lookups)
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Three (3) years of experience in accounts payable or data analysis
  • Experience analyzing supplier master data records
