We are now looking for a Painter to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for completing all steps involved in the painting process at the Cancun Resort.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all painting and wallpapering tasks to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Refinish doors, furniture, walls, ceilings, and external structures to maintain extraordinary standards.
  • Maintain inventory of paint and paint supplies, ensuring resources are available when needed.
  • Ensure the accurate functioning of all painting equipment and tools.
  • Assist other maintenance staff on special projects as directed, encouraging an exceptionally collaborative environment.
  • Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as required by your leader.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in painting, showcasing an ability to deliver high-quality work.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to follow basic written and verbal directions.
  • Physical capability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet.
  • Strength to push/pull up to 100 lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Dexterity to grasp, stoop, and reach overhead.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous hospitality experience in a resort setting.
