What will I be doing?

The Outdoor Sanitation Associate tasks will ensure cleanliness of resort common area such as pool deck, pool chairs, sidewalks, pavers grills, pool restrooms, tennis pavilion and elevator lobbies in compliance with all HGV operations standards.

Provide the highest quality of service to our guest/owners at all times

Maintains grounds free of debris including sidewalks/pavers, pool chairs, sidewalks, pavers grills, pool restrooms. Sweeps, empties trash and removals debris, dust, grease, leaves, palm fronds from surfaces using blower/broom/brushes/house. Pressure washes decks and other surfaces, as needed.

Straightens, dries and cleans all outside furniture ensuring pool and spa decks are clean and chairs are uniform. Coordinates efforts with housekeeping, when necessary, to ensure that owners/guests needs have been met.

Adheres to all resort and legislative safety procedures’ and regulations. Assists in guest service activities, such as delivering and setting up tables for weekly breakfast/lunch and providing clean-up, Cleans elevator lobby area and maintains cleanliness of the exterior guest social areas. Uses cleaning supplies which may contain chemicals in performing job tasks.

Must be able to lift/push up to 50lbs

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Skill in the use and care of equipment and tools used in performing work assignments

Ability to follow simple instructions; must be able to work in a fast pace environment

Ability to grasp, lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs; ability to climb stairs and ladders with the ability to reach often overhead

Reports deficiencies and items which cannot be readily repaired to the Maintenance Manager

Due to the cyclical nature of the business the individual may be required to do other duties and special projects as needed; Professional demeanor

 
 
 
Qualifications

A team-first attitude

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • 6+months grounds experience using, and the care of tools and equipment required.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Hospitality/Hotel experience
