About this Position

A Territory Sales Engineer (TSE) combines technical expertise with sales responsibility to grow business within an assigned geographic territory. The position aims to execute sales plans and strategy in line with SBU and plan sustainability strategy to maintain and develop existing and acquire new customers.

Job Location: Jharsuguda

What you´ll do

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve assigned sales targets for the territory
  • Generate new business through prospecting and lead conversion
  • Increase market share by promoting company products and solutions
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and price negotiations

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, EPCs, contractors, consultants, and end users
  • Conduct regular customer visits and understand evolving needs
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business

3. Technical Support & Application Engineering

  • Understand customer applications and recommend suitable products/solutions
  • Provide technical presentations, product demos, and training
  • Assist customers during product selection, trials, and approvals
  • Support specification activities with consultants and design engineers

4. Territory & Market Management

  • Plan and execute a territory‑wise sales plan
  • Study market trends, competition, and pricing strategies
  • Identify new projects and upcoming opportunities in the territory
  • Submit regular sales forecasts and activity reports

5. Channel / Distributor Management (if applicable)

  • Identify, appoint, and manage dealers or distributors
  • Support channel partners in sales closures and technical discussions
  • Monitor secondary sales, inventory, and payments

6. Order Execution & Coordination

  • Coordinate internally with engineering, production, SCM, and service teams
  • Ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries
  • Support installation, commissioning, and after‑sales needs
  • Track receivables and assist in payment follow‑ups
