What you´ll do

  • The Shipping Technician is responsible for preparing and shipping finished goods to distribution centers and customers in an accurate and timely manner without incurring downtime. 2nd shift position - 2:30PM - 10:30PM
  • Operate forklift and dock equipment safely in accordance with instructions, including forklift battery changes
  • Start up, shut down, change over and operation of palletizers and trunk line conveyors/equipment
  • Ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and meets quality control standards to deliver high-quality products
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
  • Follow procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

What makes you a good fit

  • 1 to 2 years of current or recent work experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
  • Willing to flex schedule to meet business needs, including extended shifts, weekends and holidays, if necessary, as well as moving to other shifts to balance skills, results, vacation coverage and training opportunities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve issues independently and understand when additional support is needed
  • Basic to intermediate math skills
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team
  • Current forklift certification or ability to become certified
  • 2nd Shift (Monday through Friday) 2:30PM to 10:30PM

The hourly pay range for this role is $21.10. This range reflects the good‑faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting.  This role is classified as non‑exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, training, certifications, and work location.
