About this Position

In this role, you will support quality and environmental processes by analyzing quality data, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Quality, Operations, and other internal functions to support process optimization initiatives, manage documentation and reporting, and provide technical guidance on quality and environmental topics to drive continuous improvement. 

What you´ll do

  • Perform standard quality control testing on incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods.
  • Calculate and report test results, recording test data into the SAP database.
  • Comply with all Environmental rules, procedures, and regulations.
  • File and maintain retain samples, dispose of old retain samples, and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Assist Quality Engineers with complaint investigations and provide appropriate training to internal customers in the SHEQ area.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization within the quality department.
  • Complete and manage any assigned projects determined by the departmental Manager, Supervisor, and Leads.
  • Communicate with various internal functions and execute the implementation of regulation changes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on environmental issues.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and regulatory submissions.
  • Proficiency in environmental modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.

What makes you a good fit

  • University degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality and SHEQ management systems, including international standards (ISO, HACCP) and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Hands-on experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of sustainability topics, environmental impact assessment, risk assessment, behaviour- and culture-based safety approaches, and wastewater analysis.
  • Experience in problem solving technics 4M, 8D analysis.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools and advanced data / big data analysis capabilities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively across functions.
