About this Position

The Patent Information Analyst in Bratislava is responsible for searching and assessing patents and other scientific & technical literature and providing evaluated and condensed information. As this task is deeply embedded in Henkel’s product development process, it contributes significantly to creating and securing innovation. 

What you´ll do

  • Searching data via patent databases, scientific literature and internet
  • Analyzing retrieved technical and scientific information according to the requested topic
  • Evaluating, mapping and ranking search results with agreed strategies
  • Responsibility for Adhesive Technologies Communication, cooperation and reporting to the central department in Duesseldorf - Germany and requestors worldwide

What makes you a good fit

  • Master degree in chemistry or polymer technology
  • Active knowledge of English
  • Experience with searching the documents in any databases (Science Direct, Scopus, Espacenet, etc.) is very welcome
  • User knowledge of MS Office
  • Good analytical thinking; accuracy and attention to details
  • Ability of self-organize and meet deadline

Minimum salary: 1550 EUR gross (Of course, an overpayment is possible depending on the respective training, qualification and professional experience. The gross salary is based on these aforementioned criteria and is finally determined after the personal interview).
