What you´ll do
- Identifies hazardous workplace conditions and removes hazards and/or protects employees by guarding machinery, revising work procedures, and training employees.
- Takes effective steps to ensure that workplace conditions comply with applicable Federal, State, Local and Henkel occupational safety and health standard provisions and that all required SHE records are prepared, accurate, up-to-date and complete.
- Provides consultative guidance and information to the local, regional and global management team on SHE priorities and risks, associated costs, performance, issues, and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
- Safety is a fundamental aspect of this role and is part of everyone’s responsibility.
What makes you a good fit
- Report Environmental statistics data to Global SHE on monthly basis; Prepare and manage the related documents about environment in accordance with Henkel global regulations, local regulations and laws.
- Prepare and send quarterly wastewater reports to MSD.
- Monitor and ensure permit limits are maintained.
- Implement the work environment measurement, the self-inspection of air emission and wastewater discharge facilities and the emergency training.
- Secure SDS (MSDS) for chemicals used in the laboratory, ensure the appropriateness of chemical storages, and understand and manage information related to the health, safety, and environment.
- Investigate environmental accidents/incidents using participative root cause analysis techniques and develop appropriate response to prevent recurrence.
- Achieve full compliance with regulatory and Henkel Environmetal standards by directly supporting facility staff with policies, procedures, work instructions and training.
- Oversight of Process Safety Management (PSM) management program
- Leverages environmental best practices and manages all related regulatory and compliance issues.
- Acts as Site “Dangerous Goods/Chemicals” Safety Advisor (DGSA)
- Responsible for sustainability roadmap to drive Energy, Water and Waste improvement
- RCRA (Hazardous Waste Management) DOT (Hazmat Ground shipping), Training, and Auditing.

The salary for this role is $100,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
