About this Position
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall management and success of the branch, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, strong sales performance, compliance with safety and legal requirements, and exceptional customer service to mining-sector clients.What you´ll do
- Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day branch operations
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor workflow and resolve operational issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with legal, company, and industry regulations
- Maintain and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards
- Identify risks within the workplace and implement mitigation measures
- Achieve and exceed branch sales targets and revenue goals
- Promote company products and services to mining-sector clients
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the branch business
- Identify new opportunities within the Northern Cape mining market
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Utilise CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools to track sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts
What makes you a good fit
- Proven experience as a Branch Manager or senior operational leader
- Strong and demonstrable experience in the Northern Cape mining industry
- Sound understanding of mining operations and safety requirements
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, communication, and analysis
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer data and sales pipelines
- Proven ability to manage people, operations, and sales
- Strong financial, administrative, and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license
