About this Position
This position plays a key role within the Henkel HPS scope by supporting operational excellence. It is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives, automation upgrades, site master planning, and layout optimization to ensure all resources are well-designed and performing effectively. The role supports UPC reduction, automation enhancement, capacity performance, and stable supply. It also aims to increase the use of AGVs, robots, and AI visual applications in operations.What you´ll do
- Manage automation roadmaps across all sites and support site master planning
- Lead lean design activities for investment projects, including line balancing, SLP, and automation solutions
- Lead studies, standardization, and rollouts of new technologies and solutions
- Lead IE-related training across APAC and develop organizational capability
- Support improvements of existing production lines using IE methodologies
- Support continuous improvement activities led by Sub-Region Representatives and Site HPS teams
- Support Korea and Japan Operation Tier 2 PDI and Japan sites’ Tier 3 PDI development and follow-up
- Support Japan sites in MOS deployment, routine execution, and annual assessments
- Support Japan sites with special improvement projects and programs initiated by the APAC Regional HPS team
What makes you a good fit
- A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Automation, or
an equivalent field is required
- A minimum of ten (10) years of total work experience in shopfloor
operations, automotive, electronics, or other manufacturing-related industries
is required
- Experience in Six Sigma, VSM, automation, or digital technologies is
preferred
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Minitab, Python, and other digital tools
is preferred
- Project management experience is preferred
- Native-level proficiency in Korean and business-level proficiency in English are required; Japanese proficiency is a plus
