Job Details:

The Heartland Payroll Product team is looking for a summer intern to participate in research and documentation related to Heartland Payroll product enhancements.  This will include validating and updating existing product documentation, researching and documenting new products and integrations, and performing competitive landscape analysis. 

In addition, you will be given a unique responsibility to undergo a project assessment, handed by the Senior Director of Product Development to be presented along with facts and recommendations to Executive Leadership of Heartland Payment Systems.

What will you be doing? 

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform product decisions and strategy

  • Work with Product Owners to mature current work model 

  • Solve ambiguous problems based on both quantitative and qualitative user metrics

What are the requirements? 

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 

  • Must have proficiency with G-Suite tools 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
