 To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by providing information services that consistently exceed our customers’ expectations and support the corporate objectives of Health First, Inc.  The Senior Oncology Clinical Systems Analyst works directly with the leadership of their assigned support areas to analyze, specify, and design automated systems as well as implement new systems or modifying existing ones.  This position also investigates problems, provides application technical support, and training to their customers for systems and software.  Acting as the communication hub,  coordinates the information technology activities for their assigned areas by designing, configuring, testing, and debugging software based on user requirements.  This associate leads strategic projects, and may be asked to lead the investigation and resolution of problems, provide application technical support, and respective training to their customers.       PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES\:   Quality/No Harm\: Understand all aspects of business requirements and their relationship to application requirementsWork closely with IS staff to specify requirements and translate them to well designed software structuresUse system tools to develop adhoc queries and reports in response to user requestscommunicates resultsCreate, review, and update documentation on an as-needed basis for responsible systemsprepare test scenarios and testing schedulesMonitor and analyze performance during testingDevelop technical documentation for system supportPerform process improvement tasks, conducting studies on complex operational problems, new system requirementsAssist in the development of departmental reporting and analysis where specific technical skills are requiredReview test plans for Associate Business Systems Analyst and Business Systems Analyst as requiredPartners with IT and leadership to plan, create and design various database applications, queries, reports, and other data extraction techniquesMaintain current hardware and/or software and vendor informationContribute and oversee the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance  


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED\: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience in a relevant field may be substituted at director's discretion.5 years clinical experience in oncology field required.   Current and active Registered Nurse or Radiation Therapy Technologist preferred.5+ years’ experience in information technology or in business or systems analysis and design in a technical or clinical environment preferredMaintain certifications applicable to the current position based on the installed application or system software versions or platforms. If application certifications are not available, maintain most relevant education available for assigned application.Expertise in business and systems analysis, design in a technical environment, and expertise in project management desired
