Job Summary and Qualifications

The HCA Healthcare ITG Senior Product Analyst serves as a ITG lead for Emergency products and tools. This role is accountable for the portfolio of applications that support business continuity and emergency operations across the enterprise.

The individual ensures these applications are configured, implemented, and integrated in alignment with HCA Healthcare standards and IT security requirements. They partner closely with the Enterprise Emergency Operations department to coordinate efforts, validate requirements, and ensure technology solutions effectively enable emergency response capabilities.

This position assumes end-to-end ownership of assigned products, driving outcomes through cross-functional collaboration. Depending on initiative scope and resource needs, the Senior Product Analyst may function in multiple capacities, including project manager, business analyst, product tester, and implementation lead, to ensure successful delivery and sustained operational performance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Product ownership for software products to support emergency operations and business continuity

Document and maintain application requirements for IT products

Provide leadership to implement new solutions and retire old systems

Provide training and education materials for diverse user bases

Work with vendors to ensure compliance with HCA Healthcare IT expectations

Establish and maintain data integration between applications

Establish and maintain solid business relationships

Ensure HCA Healthcare and vendors abide by contract commitments

Ensure HCA Healthcare meets license requirements of vendors

Provide data flow diagrams for applications

Coordinate any downtimes, upgrades and change schedules

Decommission applications as needed

Maintain vendor contacts and support matrix

Ensure proper monitoring/alerting for availability and performance

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems - Preferred

EXPERIENCE

5 or more years of relevant expereince - Preferred

Less than 1 year of experience in a leadership role - Preferred

Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience could be considered

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Experience with project management and/or process improvement - Required

Technical knowledge of application support and vendor management - Required

Demonstrated ability to facilitate diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment - Preferred

Strong problem and issue resolution experience and create quality deliverables - Required

Ability to meet deadlines and set clear expectations - Required

Possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels within the organization - Required

Understanding of use of technologies in a healthcare environment - Preferred

Understanding of hospital operations - Preferred

Ability to implement integrations between complex applications - Required

Ability to work independently - Required

Able to succinctly communicate verbally and in a variety of media - Required

Detailed oriented and analytical with good organization skills - Required
