Lead Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-time
Job Summary and Qualifications
Plans, organizes, conducts speech therapy programs for in and out patients designed to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body parts within departmental guidelines. Determines when patient progress and goals have been met or medical necessity no longer warrants intervention. Establishes provisions for continuing services and makes referrals to other professionals regarding patient care as necessary. Participates in rounding and proactively responds to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively impact overall patient experience. Communicates and interacts with patients, families and others in a caring, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner. Willingly shares knowledge/expertise and assists co-workers. Fosters teamwork and contributes to achievement of team goals. Acts as a resource for co-worker's as appropriate.
What qualifications you will need:
- Masters Degree
- (SLP) Speech-Language Pathologist license
- (CCC-SLP) Cert of Clin Competence Speech Language Pathology
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
