This position is responsible for overall performance of the 531 DTC facility in Rural Hill, NC. The Senior Manager plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls all distribution and office center activities. The selection, development and motivation of all facility employees are key responsibilities. Accountable for achieving corporate and facility objectives with regard to safety, service, quality and cost while managing the complexity and generating the sense of urgency necessary in a fast-paced, highly automated distribution center. Responsible to support multi brand channel distribution as well as develop process improvements to enhance efficiencies and drive P&L. This role will analyze, review and report all data and information in support of all established KPIs and programs for the 531 DTC. The Sr. Manager will also help define strategies for new methods and processes within the 531 operations as well as implementing and sustaining best practices in production, material handling equipment and automation. This position assures all strategic planning initiatives are fully developed and executed and that the DTC facility is fully staffed, trained, executing and achieving all KPI. Responsible for building flow, forecasting, cost containment, managing labor and achieving operating budgets and related metrics.


Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and oversight to the DC management team to ensure highest level of employee performance and morale while driving continuous improvement and managing change in the operation. Promote an environment of learning and continuous growth at all levels within the site.

Daily KPI Execution: Plan and prioritize daily operations to support customer shipments, service levels and sales plans. Ensure quality performance to order accuracy, inventory accuracy and product preservation. Promote the highest level of expectations for achieving established standards in Safety, Quality and Productivity. Provide situational leadership to all levels of the DC Team while partnering with overall organization with an focus on a collaborative distribution network and strategic execution.

Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement through Lean concepts and problem solving techniques. Organize and develop department staff at all levels to set the standard of continuous improvement at the individual, departmental, facility and organizational levels.

Production Planning and Budgeting: Produce and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly data related to the site's performance to budget. Take an active role in planning for annual budget cycles in support of the Director.

Interaction with Stakeholders and Resources Outside of Production: Interact with Customers, Customer Service, Business Analytics, Production Planning, Transportation, IT, Sales and Marketing, Quality, Finance, Engineering, Logistics/Compliance and Senior Leadership to ensure compliance to internal and external standards and requirements while meeting and/or exceeding shipment and budgetary plans.


BA/BS in Business, Engineering or Logistics/Supply chain Management or other relevant experience.

10 years of distribution/ecommerce leadership experience will be considered to satisfy education requirement.

MBA or other Master's Degree Preferred

7+ years' experience in operations, distribution and/or Supply chain management .

Ecommerce leadership experience preferred.

Automation and/or robotics technologies strongly desired.

General managerial experience, strong systems orientation in Manhattan or comparable WMS.

Advanced knowledge and proficiency in MS office suite.

Demonstrated skills in staffing, budgeting, communication and organizational development.

Demonstrated track record of process improvement/Lean initiatives.

Experience in multi variable standards and production/incentive based work environments.
