Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an experienced General Manager  / Chef Manager for our client at Ericsson in Plano, Texas.  

 

We are seeking an General Manager with Culinary background in high profile Corporate Services account located on Legacy drive corridor. This position is responsible for oversight among all retail platforms such as the cafeteria, catering and micro-markets. Experience in financial and budgets and P&L contract environment is a plus but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience working in a high volume facility serving two meals a day
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills to juggle different tasks and events at one time
  • Strong food service management skills, preferably in corporate dining
  • Previous experience managing or supervising an hourly staff, as well as client relations within a P&L environment

This exciting new "cross breed" management position will allow you to grow your managerial wings along with exhibiting a culinary flair. Direct responsibility will encompass oversight within this exciting, expanding population location in all retail platforms, inclusive of a 24/7 Micro market and robust catering platform.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account

Key Duties- Provides team leadership & training- Controls unit financials- Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards- Supervises day to day activities - Delegates authority- Assigns & prioritizes activities- Monitors operating standards- Establishes a safe work environment10: Support workplace inclusion activities

C/S: Culinary focus with ADMIN responsibilities.  Limited menu, basic program 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree 

Basic Management Experience - 2 years
