Sodexo Corporate Services is searching for an Innovations Executive Chef for USAA in San Antonito, Texas.
This experienced culinary professional will act as our Innovations Executive Chef, focusing on bringing new ideas, creating new platforms, bringing in more Sodexo brands and creating new items. They will occasionally travel to USAA regional offices to assist in renovation and other projects. The position will also be highly involved in catering for the account.
The best qualified candidate will have the ability to think outside the box with excellent culinary creativity. They will also have high-end catering and high volume culinary experience.

We are looking for candidates who will:
- create new food concepts for cafes
- recipe management
- work directly with Client on food projects
- collaborates and leads projects with the Marketing Team and on-site Wellness Director
- creates plano-grams for food presentation at food stations
- develops culinary activities to educate the client
The ideal candidate has:
- a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
- excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
- previous experience working in a restaurant
- strong management skills

Provides culinary leadership within a large sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. Key Duties- Implements & coordinates the culinary function. - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manages catering & retail areas.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.- Manages food & physical safety programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
