Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 2 to join our team in Devens, MA. This location is part of a multi site portfolio. Currently servicing a customer base of 700 with a growth expectancy of an additional 500 within 18 months.

The Executive Chef 2/Director of Culinary will lead a multi-faceted operation, this is an excellent career opportunity for a highly energetic, client savvy, customer service focused leader ready to grow their career.
This position will be responsible for a corporate dining program and working with the culinary and FOH teams as well as direct client management at this prestigious location. This program will focus on health and wellness offerings as well as sustainability initiatives. Prior experience working within these parameters is essential to success of this valued client location.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organization and team building skills in conjunction with a strong creative culinary background servicing over 750 employees. The ideal candidate will show competency in the following areas:
- Excellent communication with guests, clients and front-line team
- Ability to develop front-line staff
- Ability to hold front-line staff accountable for learned skills
- Commitment to sanitation
- Commitment to a contemporary food offer while using the Retail Excellence tools; love of food
- Desire to “be the best” in the market
- Ability to understand food and labor costs while working closely with unit controller to support development of these skills. This can be a learned skill over time (6-8 months)

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. Key Duties- Implements & coordinates the culinary function. - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manages catering & retail areas.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.- Manages food & physical safety programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree Basic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.Sodexo is an EEO/AA/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran employer.
