Position Overview

Appcast is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and coach a team of new Business Development  Specialists.


Position Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate Business Development Specialists to help them generate new revenue opportunities and leads for the organization

  • Assist in the recruiting, staffing and training to grow and maintain a sales team

  • Formulate and execute on quarterly sales plans

  • Assist the members of the business development team in qualified client meetings

  • Ensure the business development team is hitting all crucial company KPIs, as it pertains to Business Development

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Demand Generation teams in developing appropriate programs and campaigns to support the success of the Business Development team

  • Inspire, lead and coach a dynamic fast-paced team of Business Development professionals

  • Coach and provide feedback to Business Development Specialists in the areas of sales, personal development, direction and career focus

  • Conduct weekly forecast reviews and quarterly progress review sessions with each Business Development Specialist

  • Manage productivity and quality to ensure teams meet established goals and standards

  • Continuous process improvements, recommendations and the implementation of new initiatives

  • Assist in managing programs to achieve target goals for the team and each individual Business Development Specialist

  • Work with Fortune 500-5000 accounts

  • The ability to work flexible hours is required


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Must be a team player

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • 5 to 10 years successful sales experience

  • 3 to 5 years successful sales management experience, preferably leading a team dedicated to business development and new business

  • Experience selling in the technology field required

  • Success in building, growing and managing highly prolific team of Business Development Specialists

  • Familiarity with recruiting and/or HR industry

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, database applications and CRM tools

  • Customer-focused personality to demonstrate that both external and internal customers are high priority by identifying, and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient manner

  • Recognizes opportunities and initiates actions to capitalize on them by looking for new and productive ways to make an impact
