As part of the Froedtert & the MedicalCollege of Wisconsin health network our new hospital will offer easyaround-the-clock access to emergency and inpatient care in a highly efficientsetting near where people live and work. The hospital will be connected to ourelectronic health records system to ensure coordination of care. The hospital’ssmaller size will simplify access to care and the availability of inpatientbeds offers appropriate local services while reducing the need for patients totravel for care.

  • Seven emergency department (ED) beds
  • Froedtert & MCW board-certified ED physicians and registered nurses
  • In-house lab and pharmacy services
  • In-house imaging including low-dose CT scan fully digital X-ray and ultrasound

At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers prepares patientsperforms imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnosticstudies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols whileutilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizationalcustomer service standards and supports the organizational excellenceinitiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication withpatients visitors and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists inpatient care areas as necessary. Responsible for performing all CT DiagnosticX-ray and Point of Care Lab Testing. Other duties as assigned.



One year of clinical experience in each CT and X-ray required.One year of clinical experience in each CT and X-ray required. Post high schoolcompletion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program isrequired.  An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/oran undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. ARRTregistered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer isrequired. Registered by the ARRT in CT within one year is required. AmericanHeart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) oran AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
