The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant will be primarily responsible for the presentation and proposals of the Ambit Asset Finance products and services in Asia-Pacific with a focus on South-East Asia.
This is a senior role within the business reporting to the Director of Product Management and will have responsibility for guiding the product's functional and technical direction through working with prospects and clients in the region. The primary responsibilities will be:
- Play an integral role in the sales process utilizing knowledge of Ambit Asset Finance and the Auto and Equipment Finance Industry to address client/prospect requirements
- Drive solution assurance process to obtain client/prospect requirements, identify and prioritize functionality gaps working with product management to obtain estimates to address functionality gaps or define appropriate workarounds.
- Provide direction to sales support team for creation and packaging of proposals.
- Provide input to appropriate sections of requests for proposal (RFPs) and request for information (RFI)
- Deliver product presentations/demonstrations to clients/prospects either in person or via web-based tools.
- Work with the product management team on roadmap proof of concept's (POC) and have responsibility to take these to existing or new clients to solicit feedback and iterate through the process to delivery
- Create and maintain product presentations
- Participate in business requirements review with clients/prospects.
- Participate in product release process
- Participate in industry conferences and roundtables
- Interact with vendors and other organizations where appropriate to evaluate third-party vendor opportunities and solutions.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Auto and Equipment Finance and have experience of:
- Presenting products and solutions to clients and prospects either through the sales process or within a workshop environment
- Working within a globally distributed team
- Working within the Auto or Equipment Finance software industry either at a competitor organisation or within a finance organisation
