Position Responsibilities/Requirements

WHAT IS THE POSITION?

FIS is looking for an Insert Operator to join our Print and Mail team in Canton, MA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid background in Print & Insert who likes to contribute new ideas and is willing to put in the work to build their career.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up, operate and troubleshoot automatic mail inserting machines. Responsible for ensuring personal production meets and/or exceeds our client's expectation for productivity, timeliness and quality.

Required Skills:
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to occasionally reach, lift, and carry boxed materials and paper webs weighing between 25 to 45 lbs. over an approximate range of ankle to shoulder high.
  • Occasional push and pull with forces upwards of 57lbs necessary to maneuver loaded carts and pallet jacks.
  • Frequent use of both hands to grasp boxes and webs, open boxes, grasp inserts and envelopes, and complete paperwork.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 95% of shift.
  • Ability to use a personal computer. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.
