Position Responsibilities/Requirements

The Finance team at FIS is a critical business partner and we are leading several key initiatives that will transform our finance organization and take the company to a whole new level.
You will have the opportunity to work across FIS's finance organization, which includes Accounting and FP&A.
Typical responsibilities vary, but may include:
•Support day to day operational functions in the Planning& Analysis, Accounting, and Finance Departments
•Coordinate intercompany charge requests
•Investigate and resolve intercompany variances
•Prepare and record accounting journals
•Reconcile general ledger accounts to supporting documentation
•Assist with interim SOX testing and documentation
•Perform ad hoc analysis of accounting transactions, operational performance and balance sheet accounts
•Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations
•Perform data analytics
•Assist with software implementation projects
•Special Projects across corporate finance
Position Requirements:
•Accounting/Finance Major
•Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
•Demonstrated ability to be accurate and detailed
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
•Strong organizational skills
•Prior finance or accounting experience a plus
