Position Responsibilities/Requirements
As a 2019 Corporate Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on the job training and mentoring along with participation in team projects, social events,charity work, and professional development seminars. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 3, 2019 and conclude on August 9, 2019.
Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. As an intern, you should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned byan experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value.

General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build predictive models using statistical and machine learning methodologies
- Create analyses for internal stakeholders as well as clients
- Create reporting
- Summarize and present findings to peer groups, senior management, and clients
- Determine relevant quantitative methods for solving client issues
- Share knowledge and learn from other members of analytics team
- Evaluate and improve internal tools and processes
- Enrolled in a Masters Program for Statistics, Economics, Machine Learning/AI and graduating between December 2019 and Summer 2020
- Experience using analytical software such as SAS, R, Python, H20, KNIME, Tableau
- Understanding of statistical modeling techniques
- Ability to present results to decision makers in a clear and understandable fashion
