FIS is looking for a Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our team in Brown Deer, WI. This position will ensure the strategic objectives of the Integrated Financial Solutions (IFS) Business Operations program are met, including the management and execution of client support technology system improvements, implementation of process efficiency activities, coordination of ongoing program reporting and communications.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience with process improvement, preferably within the Finance or IT space, strong reporting skills (Excel, Power BI a plus), and experience presenting/communicating with C suite personnel.

FIS is looking for a Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our team in Brown Deer, WI. This position will ensure the strategic objectives of the Integrated Financial Solutions (IFS) Business Operations program are met, including the management and execution of client support technology system improvements, implementation of process efficiency activities, coordination of ongoing program reporting and communications.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience with process improvement, preferably within the Finance or IT space, strong reporting skills (Excel, Power BI a plus), and experience presenting/communicating with C suite personnel.

- 5-10 years of experience with process improvement, preferably within the Finance or IT space
- Strong reporting skills, specifically within Excel (Power BI a plus!)
- Experience presenting/communicating with an advanced audience
- Loves analyzing issues and devising efficiencies to better the client experience
- Financial Technology industry experience a plus!

- Develops client support reporting designed to drive action and enhance the FIS user & client user experience.
- Interprets needs of client support business stakeholders, develops corresponding action plans, executes improvement activities and documents progress. Key steps to include:
- Working with cross-functional and cross-divisional groups to identify inefficient or ineffective client support and client experience processes and identify potential overlapping initiatives.
- Development of cross-divisional action plans designed to address inefficient or ineffective operational process with common methodologies that can be applied within each autonomous division.
- Management and development of status tracking for key initiatives to allow for enterprise aggregation of initiative implementation.
- Tracks, coordinates, and resolves issues identified in any and all related client support / client experience work.
- Identifies opportunities to propose additional areas of improvement for client support and client experience related processes.
- May participate in line of business-specific routine support activities to learn about the business' strategic direction as well as gain a good understanding of the products, services and support FIS is offering.
- Identifies and documents business strategies, objectives and drivers.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
- Broad knowledge of FIS' products and services, business practices and processes
- Requires highest level understanding of organization's business systems and industry requirements
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry practices, regulations and processes
- Basic knowledge of one or more end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development and conversion methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of the tools, techniques and principles used in business process development, documentation and re-engineering
- Advanced proficiency in at least one appropriate process methodology, e.g., ISO, Lean, Six Sigma
- Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
- Excellent training/presentation skills to educate the organization on new or updated processes
- Willingness to shares relevant technical, process, and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team-building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
- Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
- Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
