About the team
As a 2019 Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on the job training and mentoring along with participation in team projects, community service events, social outings, and professional development seminars. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 3rd and conclude on August 9th, 2019.
What you will be doing
As an Associate Product Specialist Intern, you will be responsible for supporting a Level 1 and 2 support team for our customers throughout the Americas region. You will be part of a highly specialized, experienced, application support team. A key performance function of this position is to build and maintain customer satisfaction. What you will be doing
As an Associate Product Specialist Intern, you will be responsible for supporting a Level 1 and 2 support team for our customers throughout the Americas region. You will be part of a highly specialized, experienced, application support team. A key performance function of this position is to build and maintain customer satisfaction. Responsibilities of this role include:
- Acknowledging and maintaining ownership of assigned support tickets from inception through to closure
- Assisting with in house testing and validating patches, configuration changes and other solutions provided by development teams to validate recommended resolution of specific client incidents
- Learning our ticketing and reporting system to assist the team with customer status calls
- Providing backup support for file transfers and database administration
- Participating in and assisting with internal training and client webinars
- Understanding FIS's SLA obligations to its customers and ensuring adherence thereto as it pertains to assigned tickets
- Maintaining relevant customer data such as contact information, core products and modules, and product version information for assigned clients
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited University
- GPA 3.0 or better
- You are a rising Senior graduating December 2019 through May 2020
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including a good working knowledge of MS Office
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of FIS products and services
